POSITION PURPOSE:
The Superintendent is responsible for the supervision of all field activities related to the project's physical construction. The superintendent shall control all aspects of the project site to safely achieve the final design, with strict adherence to requirements/standards (quality, environmental, site-specific) within the contract schedule. The superintendent is the direct point of contact for safety, enforcement of all safety regulations and policies, and will often be the project's site safety officer.

This position involves work at a construction site where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors Extended hours may be required to meet project deadlines. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines. Regularly required to stand and walk. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Reach with hands and arms. Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee may be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
