    LOCATION: MORGANTOWN, WV TITLE: OUTREACH COORDINATOR SCHEDULE (FT/PT): PART TIME (20 HOURS PER WEEK) TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0 - 25% CLEARANCE: ABILITY TO OBTAIN

    North Wind Site Services is focused on providing engineering, program management, environmental remediation services including investigation and characterization, environmental restoration, unexploded ordnance/military munitions response (MMRP), regulatory public involvement services, environmental compliance, logistics, and records and facility management.

    CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO MEET THE STANDARDS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN AND HOLD A SECRET OR HIGHER US GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE JOB DESCRIPTION This position will provide support to the customer by conducting worker outreach activities to coal mine operators, coal miners and their families, and coal mining communities at sites chosen by the customer.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor degree required as well as 10 years relevant experience with Coal Workers' Health Surveillance.
    • Must have direct knowledge and understanding of the Coal Workers' Health Surveillance Program (CWHSP) and the coal mining community as well as be able to accurately convey the importance of the program to the stakeholders.
    • Must have ability to effectively communicate with a variety of personnel and convey medical information.
    • Must have ability to write effectively and be able to enter data into a database and maintain the database.
    • Must be willing to travel for 3 to 4 months per year.
    • Must have ability to obtain a work clearance from NIOSH.
