    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Operate and monitor the Lenel OnGuard Security system and Closed Circuit TV (CCTV).

    • Monitor critical assets, sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIF's) such as open storage classified areas, network operation center (NOC) and secure communications facilities. Conduct assessments of the alarms and alerts from the security system and notify proper authorities.

    • Monitor the security cameras in the buildings for suspicious activities and behavior and will notify emergency services, fire, and military or civilian law enforcement as needed.

    • Conduct a check of the security system equipment for proper operation.

    • Maintain Equipment Status Checks shall be conducted every hour on the operational status of the security equipment listed; annotate results in the electronic log book.

    • Properly maintain and control of all keys and controlled items, i.e., identified, tagged, and secured in a locked container.

    • Maintain an Electronic Log book.

    • Monitor the intrusion detection system (IDS), personal security devices, CCTV, fire and water pressure systems, alerts and alarm panels.

    • Verify all personnel entering the facilities by ensuring all personnel present a Badge identification (i.e. Common Access Card (CAC)).

    • Issue a temporary visitor's badge to visitors.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be proficient in MS Office
    • Prolonged standing required
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
    • Must have an Active Secret Clearance
