    • Work under the direction and supervision of the Sr. Paralegal. • Assist the in-house legal department with various business and regulatory filings. • Assist in the corporate licensing program including preparing and filing business licenses and occupational licenses and renewals in multiple states for multiple entities. • Assist in State Registrations and Annual Filings. • Maintain electronic and hardcopy files. • Manage requests for information from various government agencies and other internal support departments. • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal is preferred. • Deal with uncertainty on a daily basis in fast paced, collegial in-house Legal Department. • Ability to communicate effectively both in a formal legal setting as well as in internal communications with business and legal professionals. • Ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly and professionally. • Task-oriented with excellent sense of prioritization, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and to work under pressure. • Ability to work individually as well as in a team. • Apply legal concepts to factual situations necessary to perform substantive legal work under the supervision of an attorney. • Ability to continuously track and monitor various reporting requirements and other company information. • Proficient in various standard PC-based software packages, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Education: Associates Degree in related field preferred. Three (3) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree. • Experience: Possess at least two (2) years of legal experience. • Experience with Small Business Administration filings a plus.
