JOB DESCRIPTION

• Monitor and execute site security checks on critical assets, restricted areas, communications facilities, and rear parking lot.
• Conduct security checks of areas identified as high value/mission critical/restricted areas at a minimum every four (4) hours to verify areas are properly secured.
• Report any suspicious activity or issues to the base police or the appropriate staff.
• Monitor Lenel Security system equipment for proper operation.
• Notify Government personnel of any irregularities noted in the Lenel security system.
• Inventory and Monitor Keys and badges.
• Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors and guests.
• Control, issue, and maintain an electronic record of visits.
• Verify all personnel entering the facilities by ensuring all personnel present a Badge or identification (i.e. Common Access Card (CAC)). Cross reference it with the Lenel Security.
• Issue a temporary visitor's badge as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be proficient in all MS Office Suites, the Lenel Security System, and CCTVs.
• 2-3 years of experience
• Secret clearance required
