North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT (East Location) is looking to hire a knowledgeable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Automotive Sales Associate. Qualifications

• Willingness to share credit, work with others in a team environment, and define success collectively rather than individually
• Ability to take initiative, embrace change, and learn new things
• Drive to be dependable, and to perform well against the expectations of the role
• Ability to trouble shoot a multitude of automotive, trailer and vehicle situations for our North 40 customers
• The ability to build a customer base through their skills in the automotive industry is preferred
• Understanding of placing orders for special order products
• Working knowledge of Automotive products
• Excellent customer service skills, providing our North 40 guests with phenomenal customer service
• Good communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with individuals on a regular basis
• Computer knowledge/experience
• Flexability in scheduling to the needs of the store including evenings and weekends
• Ability to multitask and take on different responsibilities when necessary
• Physical ability to work outside in all weather conditions, lift up to 60 lbs. frequently, spend up to 100% of work time, other than breaks, standing and moving, climbing and kneeling on concrete or hard surfaces; use of forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders and rolling staircases. Consistent adherence to safety standards
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques

As an Automotive Sales Associate at North 40, your main priority is to connect with our customers and be a genuine resource on all products relating to tools and automotive parts. You play a key role in the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service, accurate product information, and solution recommendations for our customer’s needs. To support maintaining an impressive environment for our customers, you will help with stocking and merchandising products and safeguarding company assets. You are committed to doing a job well – and you demonstrate that by your willingness to learn, your reliability, your enthusiasm to share your knowledge and skills, and your genuine interest in and support of your teammates.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE SALES ASSOCIATE

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
