The North 40 Outfitters Home Office in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Website Experience Specialist to join our Marketing/Advertising team. As our Website Experience Specialist, you will assist in executing marketing campaigns, coordinate website usability and designs, and handle website administration and analysis.  In order to succeed in this position, you must possess excellent computer typing and proofing skills, strong attention to detail, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Support and coordinate marketing efforts with landing pages, banners, promotional messages and coupon codes
    • Design, maintain, enhance and troubleshoot website content including products, categories, feeds, features and pages
    • Perform usability tests to ensure the best possible user experiences
    • Analyze and monitor Google Analytics, Google Shopping and Search Engine Console
    • Identify and implement SEO opportunities (internal linking, on-page optimizations, sitemaps, meta descriptions, etc.)
    • Conduct regular technical audits of the north40.com website and interpret and summarize recurring SEO-related issues, prioritize opportunities, and coordinate implementation of repairs and advancements.
    • Conduct fundamental SEO activities: keyword research/ranking/gap analysis, competitive site/serp analysis, SEO-friendly copywriting, sitewide audits, crawl analysis, identify technical issues, improve site health
    • On-site optimization related to page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, SEO copy editing, sitemaps review/maintenance
    • Curate monthly content strategies using keyword research and competitive analyses and communicate these to the content team
    • Develop and implement external link building strategies
    • Watch for traffic trends and search volume fluctuations and proactively
    • Create tickets for developers, QA changes on staging environments and follow tickets through to production
    • Track site performance and traffic to identify any issues or trends
    • Coordinate with SEM and development vendors
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • A four-year degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline OR 3-5 years' experience working in a web/internet environment
    • Good working knowledge of leveraging Google Search Console and Google Analytics to track performance, report on traffic and help improve search performance
    • Experience with HTML/CSS/content management systems preferred but not necessary
    • A good understanding of a webpage’s basic code building blocks such as XML, HTML, CSS, Meta Data
    • High level of enthusiasm for the industry, as well as a sense of urgency to address any online issues
    • Ability to communicate in a business-like manner with a diverse range of people both internal and external
    • Ability to work towards goals on both the individual and team levels
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
