    We are looking for a QA Assistant that will be responsible for enforcing GMPs and ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and product safety systems in a warehouse environment.

    What you'll do:

    • Develop and implement quality assurance standards and practices
    • Interact with other departments to ensure understanding of quality assurance principles
    • Conduct audits of processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement
    • Conduct investigations into problems identified by customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
    • Perform environmental and biological testing of product
    • Perform routine line walks and building inspections to check for repacks
    • Check all in inbound and outbound inspections; Ensure paperwork is completed and logs are updated
    • Enforce GMPs and all food safety regulations and guidelines
    • Work with QA team to establish quality metrics and goals
    • 1-2 years experience in QA/QC in the food industry preferred
    • HAACP certification preferred
    • Knowledge of state, local and federal food safety laws including USDA, GMP's, CCP, HACCP, SOPs, Food Defense and Food Safety Culture guidelines and regulations
    • Ability to work effectively and produce consistent results with minimal supervision
    • Warehousing experience preferred

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and squatting and frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from the floor
    • Must be a team player
    • Must be able to work in a cold/temperature-controlled environment
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communicate skills
    • Must be dependable and have a good attendance record
    • Must have basic math and computer skills.
    • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, or when requested
