JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Production Director, this role supports the weekend experience by facilitating audio for services, events, and recordings. Audio/Tech Manager responsibilities will include establishing, recruiting, nurturing, and supervising a proficient Audio team to ensure a seamless experience. Additionally, manager will be in charge of maintenance, repair, and management of audio, lighting, and visual equipment.
JOB DUTIES:
- Facilitate audio for services, conferences, and main events.
- Mobilize and train audio volunteer team members.
- Identify and develop new audio volunteers.
- Regularly evaluate systems and initiate improvements and best practices when appropriate.
- Set direction for audio, lighting, and visual systems maintenance and repairs under the direction of the production director.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to work in a high profile and high-stress environment.
- Periodic travel to and from off site campuses and event locations.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Personal initiative and resourcefulness; ability to act and resolve needs independently.
- Able to deliver excellence with limited management direction.
- Manage all technical projects, tasks, and prioritize workloads.
- Available during non-business hours for emergency work.
- All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Proficient in operating Allen & Heath equipment, Dante Network, and Waves plug-ins.
- The ability to trouble shoot audio, lighting, and visual equipment.
- Knowledge of LED walls, projectors, lighting equipment, etc.
- The ability to operate a medium/large-sized sound reinforcement system with sensitivity to both musical and ministry excellence.
- The ability to manage large production projects at the direction of the Production Director.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Physically fit enough to load in and load out production equipment for campuses.

RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate Degree or equivalent in the field of (one or more) Electronics, Audio Production, Media, Recording, or Music.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in professional sound reinforcement, broadcast, production or recording.
