Our client, a leading Real Estate Asset Manager, is seeking an experienced Manager to join the Finance & Investment Accounting team. Daily performances include analyzing financial data and operational metrics, financial analysis, fund operations, and proactively working to streamline processes across the investment and fund accounting teams.

This hire will be responsible for:

Position Summary:

• Collaborate with the investment team to ensure accurate deal structuring, tracking, and internal/external reporting.
• Analyze financial data and operational metrics to craft quarterly review presentations for senior executives and investors.
• Compile and assess Fund quarterly reports and investor reports.
• Undertake fund operation responsibilities, including special projects like intercompany balance reconciliations, process enhancements, and partnering with other teams.
• Collaborate with asset management and FP&A in providing annual business plan information encompassing analyzed financials, strategic initiatives, and industry trends.
• Supervise external audit and tax reporting procedures in collaboration with leading audit firms.
• Manage the accounting and reporting aspects concerning properties.
• Supervise and oversee the third-party fund administrator's activities.
• Direct and manage the accounting team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience with public and/or private accounting, ideally within Real Estate Private Equity or Asset Management; Big 4 firms is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly preferred
