Assistant Fund Controller – reporting to the CFO - $5bn middle-market/growth equity Private Equity Firm – true hybrid role!
One of the best cultures in the mid-sized Private Equity band in New York is looking to hire a 5-8 year experienced candidate to manage all aspects of Accounting, Reporting, Operations, Valuations and Finance for the Funds while partnering with the investment team on deal activity, funds flow and more!
There’s a ton to this role beyond the oversight of fund accounting and financial reporting such as Fund performance calcs and reporting, compliance, credit facility management, quarterly valuations and material prep for the Valuation Committee, investor requests, and learning about tax structuring for funds, blockers, etc.

Requirements:
5-8 years – highly preferring one currently working in a Private Equity Fund Accounting capacity
CPA strongly preferred
Compensation Range:
$140-165K base salary
$180-210K total compensation.
