Job Description:

The position will be part of a team managed by the MD of Tax and will report to the Tax Manager on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all federal, state, local and international compliance related activities
  
• Prepare year-end tax work papers
  
• K-1 allocations, and tax return papers
  
• Calculate taxable income for portfolio companies, tax adjustments, tax basis calculations, and semi-annual income estimates
  
• Interact with outside accounting firms daily
  
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong professional with an undergraduate degree in Accounting
  
• 3-4 years of tax experience in alternative investments with a mid to large sized CPA firm (PE experience is preferred)
  
• Strong background in partnership tax compliance
