We are working with a prestigious and longstanding alternative investment manager with a fantastic culture that is looking for an attorney with advisory experience in either the real estate or direct lending space. Responsibilities include working with the front office deal teams on transactions and with investor relations in connection with marketing in an advisory capacity to ensure compliance with various regulations as they relate to the transactions at hand.

Responsibilities:

• Advise front office deal teams on compliance issues associated with transactions.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations on marketing initiatives concerning the pertinent business lines.
• Handle escalation of issues as they arise and manage outside counsel.

Requirements:

• JD with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• General working knowledge of real estate and/or direct lending terminology.
• Good instincts and solid communication and organizational skills.
