Job Description:

An International Investment Bank, located in Midtown New York is looking for an experienced Business Analyst. The ideal Business Analyst will have 5-10 years in Compliance and be familiar with Foreign Banking Regulatory Reporting, Dodd-Frank Regulations, FINRA and TIC reports.

Our Client is seeking a candidate with the expertise to assist Management with Regulatory-related project and gap analysis work. The candidate will be responsible for performing trend analysis, gap-analysis, and reporting to ensure Regulatory Compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Draft policy and procedure documentation specifically for FOCUS and 15c3-3 reports
  
• Responsible for daily balance sheet monitoring
  
• Ensure that the financial statements are GAAP compliant
  
• Assist with quarter end financial reporting
  
• Complete month-end journal entries and cash reconciliations

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable working alongside management of the trading desks.
  
• Expert understanding of financial products and have an ability to boil down complex trading scenarios into a meaningful story.
  
• Must have a personal interest in regulation with a desire in understanding granular details of the rule and its impact on the broader organization.
  
• Strong interpersonal and written skills are required.
  
• Must have a desire to drive change and implement improvements in controls and processes.
  
• Candidate must have a tenacious work ethic with the skills to lead.
