Responsibilities:
As the Controller, you will:
- Lead and manage the accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial statements, investor reports, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with managers, investment teams, and other departments to streamline processes and optimize investment performance.
- Manage the audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, addressing inquiries and providing transparent communication regarding fund financials.
- Participate in structuring and fundraising activities, providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor expenses, cash flow, and budgeting, implementing strategies to enhance cost efficiency.
- Evaluate valuation methodologies and ensure adherence to industry best practices and relevant accounting standards.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments that could impact financials.
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements to optimize fund accounting operations and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure fund structures and financial activities align with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in real estate private equity fund accounting and financial management.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, investment strategies, and financial markets
