Our client, a prominent and established alternative investment firm based in Midtown Manhattan, is looking to hire an HR Analyst to join their team. The HR Analyst provides general administrative support including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. This role works directly with the HR Business Partner and assists with the facilitation of all human resource processes globally.
Job Description:
- Assist in maintaining and coordinating all aspects related to the full employee life cycle at the firm, including on- boarding, offboarding, talent management, learning and development, and leaves.
- Responsible for data entry and processing employee transactions in HRIS.
- Run and compile reports and track key HR metrics.
- Provide general personnel administration, including setting up and maintaining employee records and file and general administrative support to department, including filing, copying, and scanning documents.
- Assist with full cycle recruitment process, including liaison with search firms, coordination and scheduling of interviews, reference, and background checking of candidates.
- Assist with end to end consultant processes including, partnering with Legal to review contracts, onboarding, tracking contract expirations and termination.
Job Qualifications:
- 1-4 years (maximum) experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of HRIS systems, Workday a plus
- Financial Services experience highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Organized and strong attention to detail
- Strong core competencies with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high intensity work environment
