About the Company:

Firm has been in business for 25+ years, with 150 overall employees with a team of 6 ex-Big 4 professionals. The firm has a strong global presence and offers internal mobility to transfer within functions and businesses - they are a major buy-side financial institution.

About the Role:

• Work closely with the team and CFO to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
• Preparation of GAAP financial statements including performing analytical reviews of financial data
• Develop and implement efficient, accurate and scalable processes to ensure timely and accurate journal entries, analytics, and financial results
• Play a lead role in the implementation and migration to a new general ledger system
• Assist with monthly and quarterly closes of books and records
• Liaise with the IT team and work extensively with service providers to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting
• Assist with budgeting and the preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Work closely with auditors for financial statement audit requests as well as SOX requests
• Special projects, as needed, working with the CFO

Qualifications:

• 4-10 years of Big 4 / Large National Public Accounting Experience and/or Private Industry
• CPA License
• Industry background on clients served is open
• Detail-oriented and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Compensation & Benefits

• $130k – 175k base + bonus. Approximately $185 – 250k total compensation depending on experience.
