Job Description:

An on the rise Fintech company, located in New York, NY, is seeking a Corporate Accountant to act as the Controller! This position is involved with various aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting, and business planning. The ideal candidate will hold an Accounting degree, preferably a CPA, and have at least 7 years of experience within Financial Services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of any ad hoc analyses requested by various members of management
• Record in the general ledger
• Responsible for reviewing the day-to-day accounting for the financials
• Assist in payroll

Job Requirements:

• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Familiarity with leading accounting software
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Have an energetic and positive attitude!
• Accounting degree (CPA preferred)
•4+ years of experience in Accounting
