Job Description
Position based in local police department.
3:00pm - 11:00pm (varies); Will require holidays, nights/weekends rotation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a recognized field of mental health.
Emergency/Crisis experience (minimum 1 year) dealing with acute psychiatric assessment and dispositions. Experience with public inebriate (PIP) screenings & dispositions.
Experience in provision of public or private social work, clinical services, mental health, developmental services and/or substance abuse preferred.
Ability to effectively interface with a wide range of medical and professional clinicians in hospital/clinic settings; & with police, court & corrections professionals.
QMHP required or must be obtained within six months of assuming position.
