Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
- Assist with the flow of imaging images and reports from all modalities used for care of patients within the system.
- Demonstrates problem solving, active listening, time management, organization and adaptability skills.
- Possesses ability to provide a strong customer service via email communication and phone etiquette in a high stress environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite and radiology imaging anatomy.
Essential Function
Assists the Physicians with the daily workflow of imaging patients.
Communicates messages involving physician offices, patients, other hospital departments and radiologists following up on these in a timely manner.

Education
- License Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (preferred)
Work Experience
- Healthcare/Hospital experience (required)
- Radiology experience (preferred)
Training
- Electronic Health Record (Epic) (preferred)
- Picture Archiving Communication System (McKesson/ CHANGE PACS) (preferred)
