Essential Functions:

• Direct activities of shipping/receiving department
• Provides leadership to ensure effective communications, coordination, and collaboration within area of responsibility.
• Coordinate for daily improvement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and 5S
• Ability to perform all duties and functions of the receiver and shipper associates
• Responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Pull finished product from staging and load outgoing trucks
• Prepare and package part order items and determines method for shipment within stated company time standards
• Maintains operation of the Fedex system and other tools and equipment
• Maintains shipping supplies and reports needs to purchasing as required
• Assess staffing requirements and report to Supply Chain Manager as required
• Train receiving and shipper associates
• Visually inspect products and quantities during the shipping process to prevent errors in shipping orders.
• Communicate with Supply Chain Manager all related work situations required to maintain a proper flow of products
• Maintain 5S in all work areas
• Maintain communication with IT department during month and quarter ends to ensure system issues are resolved
• Lead role during physical inventory
• Maintain warehouse area for proper material identification, acceptance status, and compliance
• Operates forklift and performs pre-operational check and maintains daily check sheet
• Participates in training new associates on forklift and any other applicable equipment
• Participate in safety meetings
• Communicate with freight coordinator regarding daily shipping requirements
• Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
• Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

• High School education or equivalent
• 2 + years of previous warehouse experience and forklift experience
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadline
• Ability to recognize and match product sizes and colors
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
• Ability to work on feet all or most of the day
• Ability to operate a PC helpful
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Must have a minimum of 3-5+ years of network engineering - experience and 3-5+ years experience in; Cisco routing, switching, accelerators, and firewall, load balancers, VPN, network protocols and topologies; network security and overall system integration.       .
• Highly motivated individual with strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work concurrently on multiple complex and sometimes ambiguous problems.  
• Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately. 
• Requires very good communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
