JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. The position is responsible for installing hardware and software, fixing related problems and troubleshooting user issues. This position will train users of new or existing systems when necessary. The individual will be responsible for providing a positive customer support experience and ensuring timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress, and handling customers with a consummately professional attitude.

In order to be successful in this role you should have a two-year degree in a computer related and four to six years of experience in the installation and maintenance of computer hardware, software and peripherals. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
This position is not in the Bargaining Unit.

MATHEMATICS. Able to uses arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages.

TECHNOLOGY. Ability to operate a computer at a basic to intermediate level.
MECHANICAL. Demonstrated mechanical skills sufficient to set up and run machinery.
OTHER SKILLS. Able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
