Northern Rock Automotive is seeking an exceptional entrepreneurial leader to serve as a staff accountant to support a rapidly growing portfolio of automotive service and repair shops.

Job Description
The Staff Accountant will be Northern Rock Automotive’s primary manager of all bookkeeping and accounting needs. The candidate will work directly with and be the primary point of contact for Northern Rock’s robust team of outside bookkeepers and accountants.
Responsibilities will include:
Coding of transactions and the reconciliation of accounts
Working with the Controller and Director of Vendor Management for Accounts Payable reconciliation
Providing direction and standards to Regional Managers and General Managers across the portfolio on all matters concerning bookkeeping, accounting, and financial controls
Candidate MUST:
Possess extensive experience in accounting
Possess a 4-year degree in accounting or related field
Possess extensive experience with QuickBooks
Be capable of learning new software and tools
Possess exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Be a high performer and contributing member of the team
Have a passion for providing purpose, direction, and motivation to diverse teams of individuals in order to accomplish complex common goals. Be a team player.
Be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the U.S.
Pass an extensive multi-state background check (a clean criminal background is required)
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation:
$80,000-$120,000 annual compensation based on experience and skill level
