Position: Service Advisor, Automotive Service and Repair - Phone Center Operator

Northern Rock Automotive is seeking an exceptional Automotive service advisor to operate a centralized phone system.

Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for being the front line in customer relations; welcome clients in a prompt and professional manner and determine the nature of their vehicle needs.
Responsibilities will include:
Welcoming customers upon their arrival by phone
Enter customer information into a point of sale system
Determine the basic need for their visit and record it clearly to the work order
Relay information to the technician
Relay technician findings to the customer
Recommend other services if needed
Complete quote and confirm the customer has approved the repairs
Contact customer to confirm when the vehicle is ready for pick up
Candidate MUST:
Possess extensive experience in the automotive service industry
Possess a working understanding of:
basic operations of an automobile
point of sale systems
scheduling systems
office and computer operations
Be able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management
Be a high performer and contributing member of the team
Have a passion for providing purpose, direction, and motivation to diverse teams of individuals in order to accomplish complex common goals. Be a team player.
Be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the U.S.
Pass an extensive multi-state background check (a clean criminal background is required)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation:
$45000 to $55000 annual compensation in first year (base pay plus performance bonus)
Performance bonus is uncapped providing for unlimited earnings opportunity
