    Job Description

    Northrop Realty is seeking a full-time Creative Graphic Designer to join its Marketing Department. The Candidate will work on print and digital collateral and branded media for the company. The Candidate will produce visual solutions to the communication needs of the company, using a combination of creative skills and awareness. Further, the desired Candidate will possess an imaginative flair, knowledge of current trends in the visual arts, and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact the design of the project.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Concept and design marketing materials that maintain brand standards.
    • Participate in Marketing Department meetings for assignment of tasks and to check on the progress of jobs and initial new projects.
    • Provide marketing support in design and production of custom flyers, brochures and other marketing materials, as well as final artwork for print and/or digital advertising.
    • Work with individual sales agents as well as sales teams to design, prepare proofs and final artwork to include, but not limited to a variety of marketing collateral, such as direct mail pieces, flyers, brochures, templates, business cards, product/info sheets, ads, banners, presentations, etc.
    • Multi-task: work on multiple designs at one time to produce accurate and high-quality work.
    • Use innovation to redefine a design and meet the constraints of cost, time and the company.
    • Contribute creative ideas and design artwork towards successful completion of projects.
    • Estimate budget and timeline of projects.
    • Communicate with outside vendors for project production as needed.
    • Coordinate production and delivery of marketing materials when required.
    • Work well with a team of marketing specialists.
    • Maintain version control of all marketing materials created. 
    • Validate all materials to ensure content is accurate, including the proofreading of these materials to determine proper formatting and grammar.
    • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of leadership to achieve results.
    • Perform other marketing and designer duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
    • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies and to stay current on design trends.
    • Proficient in G Suite and Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design.
    • Knowledge about design elements, such as color and composition.
    • Knowledge of artistic sensibility to include artistic ability and creativity.
    • Knowledge on how to effectively present ideas, both verbally and visually.
    • Knowledge of organizational skills needed to meet deadlines and stay within a budget.
    • Develop, design and produce work that exceeds the expectations of the creative brief.
    • Have solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
    • Feed off and into a passionate creative team with a high energy level and an "above and beyond mentality" to get the job done.
    • Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of all marketing and creative projects.
    • Provide backup support if/when needed for marketing department activities.
    • Must be driven and work well in an extremely fast-paced environment.
    • Be able to effectively manage resources and expectations.
