Northshire Bookstore is seeking a full-time Maintenance team member for our Manchester, VT location.

This is a full-time, high-energy position and the ideal candidate will have experience with general maintenance and upkeep of a large commercial retail building and on-property structures. Tasks may include trash disposal, general cleaning, fixing and adjusting retail fixtures, repairing exterior and interior surfaces, moving and distributing supplies between multiple onsite locations (including heavier items) and more. Clean driving record required.

This position requires the ability to multi-task and communicate with various members of the Northshire team to ensure optimal visual presentation and functionality of our flagship retail location.

General maintenance of exterior and interior

Light handiwork, drywall repair and painting

Interior and exterior trash disposal

Restock shopping bags and other supplies

Clearing sidewalks and other common areas of debris, snow and ice

Assembly/movement of retail fixtures, furniture, etc.

Installation of replacement lighting throughout the building

Organization of back stocked supplies

Assist with receiving department and movement of inventory, as needed

Inter-store and other transportation using company vehicle

Miscellaneous tasks as directed by management

26-40 Hours per week with a flexible schedule that can include weekends and holidays.
