ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSISTANT

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm
Optional Saturdays 8:30am -1:00pm
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Credit Card payments through Chase Paymentech
Handling and processing of daily cash/check payments
Apply cash, check and credit card payments to Accounting software and assist in reconciling payments daily
Process Cash/Credit Card refunds upon request
Contacting customers for payment
Maintaining and organizing accurate files on a daily basis
ASSISTANCE IN OTHER CATEGORIES MAY INCLUDE:
Preparing daily bank deposits
Maintain employee expenses and reimbursements
Matching delivery driver logs with invoices
Handling customer accounting inquires
Collecting overdue payments to minimize outstanding debts
Answering phones and directing to correct party
Assist in maintaining office operations and supplies
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Excellent computer and spreadsheet skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and reach deadlines
Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
