NorthStar Transitions has an opportunity for a licensed therapist in one of its residential facilities. NorthStar has two small gender-specific residential facilities in Boulder: one for men and one for women.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conduct group, family and individual psychotherapy
• Document therapy sessions in accordance with licensing, payor and accreditation guidelines in electronic health record
• Attend group and individual supervision
• Collaborate with care team

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledge of SUD treatment and co-occurring mental health treatment
• Comfortable facilitating a group of up to 8
• Comfortable working with clients in acute stabilization and crisis and/or experiencing drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms
• DBT, CBT and MI skills
• Familiarity with twelve steps and other programs of recovery
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Tech savvy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master Degree in Social Work or Counseling
• Licensed as LPC or LCSW in the state of Colorado
• CAC II or LAC

SCHEDULE:

• Schedule will be 4x10 hour shifts as needed
• Weekend coverage may be required
