    MARKETING INTERN -  PART-TIME (20 HOURS/WEEK)

    WAGE: $19.47 - $22.14 per hour (dependent upon knowledge, skills, and abilities)

    POSITION PRIMARY PURPOSE:  

    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Northwest Community Credit Union is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern | | who is ready to gain knowledge of marketing practices and processes in a | | fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will gain hands-on | | experience in marketing and graphic design within a financial | | institution by assisting with marketing campaigns and creating and | | updating brand guides and branding content. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | - Collaborates with staff and attends production and/or creative | | meetings to learn NWCU's branding standards. | | - Assists with updating the company branding guide(s) by applying NWCU | | branding standards. | | - Designs and updates NWCU branded templates. | | - Generates and designs copy content and graphics to support | | NWCU campaigns. | | - Assists with inventorying and cataloging marketing merchandise, | | swag, and materials. | | - Assists with marketing events and brand-related merchandise, | | as needed. | | - Plans and proposes a social media content plan for young | | adult-focused financial education. | | - Brainstorms video strategies for Marketing. | | - All other duties as assigned. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

    PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: 

    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Has graduated with or is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, | | Communications, Business, or a related field. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:  | | | | - Willingness to learn about different aspects of the organization and | | strong interest in Marketing, graphic design, or related | | business field. | | - Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat. | | - Experience with word processing, email, slide presentation, and | | calendar software. | | - Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability | | to prioritize, and manage multiple priorities at once with the | | ability to meet deadlines. | | - Experience with Adobe Premier is preferred. | | - Travel is not required. | | | | Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans Disabled | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
