  • Responsibilities

    Northwest Pump is looking for a Project Manager to join our team. You’ll report directly to our CFO, and work closely with our team members across different departments to utilize Lean and Six Sigma techniques.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, talented, and driven individual who is passionate about driving continuous improvement and making a positive impact on our company's success.

    Examples of responsibilities:

    • Drive strategic growth initiatives by leading projects in a way that improves processes and maximizes efficacy
    • View projects through a problem-solving, collaborative lens
    • Identify areas for improvement, develop project plans, and execute projects from start to finish
    • Streamline office workflows using Lean methodologies for AR, AP, purchasing, and operations
    • Lead acquisition integration by applying M & A strategies
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 3-5 years of experience in project management; experience in distribution a plus
    • PMP certification highly preferred
    • Lean certification preferred, however applicable experience evaluating and mapping processes using Lean techniques required
    • Six Sigma certification a plus
    • Experience in managing acquisition integration preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members
    • Proficient in project management software and tools, including RACI, Gantt charts, and Visio or Excel to build flowcharts
