    Job Description

    The HR PROGRAM COORDINATOR reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage all aspects of Campus Recruitment and Internship Programs
    • Coordinate pipeline initiatives in partnership with the NM Academy and Community Affairs.
    • Professionally represents Northwestern Memorial HealthCare by attending appropriate external and internal events and meetings related to recognition, pipeline and diversity activities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, customers, vendors.
    • Works collaboratively with other members of the HR division and serves as a project team member for various HR projects.
    • Seeks to continually improve and enhance HR initiatives through automation and streamlining.
    • Additional Functions:
      • Completes administrative tasks/projects supporting the Manager, including meeting scheduling, management of P.O./invoices. Independently plans and executes activities in support of projects and meetings such as room scheduling, signage, catering, equipment, appropriate notifications.
      • Coordinates monthly HR team meetings.
      • Adheres to project timelines and able to independently navigate obstacles.
      • Performs miscellaneous tasks and projects as directed.
      • Adapts behaviors and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, customer needs, and unexpected outcomes.
      • Embodies leadership, team building and group facilitation skills.
      • Builds trust with customers and team members.
      • Assists others in focusing on detailed tasks, actions and solutions.
      • Expresses ideas and facts in a succinct organized manner in groups and one-to-one conversations.
      • Maintains confidentiality.

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Access and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
    • Detail oriented with natural commitment to follow through.
    • Professional and polished.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
    • Flexible and demonstrates comfort with ambiguity.
    • Strong intellectual curiosity, initiative, and highly effective listening skills.
    • Comfortable handling multiple projects, accurately setting priorities on a regular basis.
    • Thinks creatively and works as a collaborative team member.

    PREFERRED:

    • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and web-content management.
    • Master's degree
