    Job Description

    Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to work in our Pediatric Neuropsychology/Pediatric Rehabilitation Psychology department. This is a combination of ~20% (I/P) and ~80% (O/P). The Psychologist will specialize in the psychometric evaluation and clinical care of disabilities in children with attention problems, concussion, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, anxiety, and depression. Administration, and interpretation of standardized neuropsychological instruments is a core competency for this position. Patient and family education and consultation with educators, physicians and other clinicians is also a central priority.

    Schedule: M-F, days; no nights/weekends/holidays/on-call.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides direct clinical service including psychological evaluations, consultations, and treatment services to children with feeding, developmental, and behavioral problems.
    • Provides specialized diagnostic services for infants and toddlers.
    • Provides clinical input for program development and evaluation.
    • Provides care in a fashion that assures, embraces, and communicates the pledge, values, and policies of NM.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology degree
    • Clinical Psychology Illinois license
    • Knowledge of community programs and resources pertaining to support groups, mental health services, etc.
    • BLS - CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
    • PREDOC INTERNSHIP OR POSTDOC FELLOWSHIP IN NEUROPSYCHOLOGY
    • MINIMUM OF ONE (1) YEAR OF POST GRAD EXPERIENCE

    PREFERRED:

    • Minimum two years experience in an intensive treatment setting with supervised experience in individual and family counseling
    • Understanding of and training in case management
