    Job Description

    The PROGRAM MANAGER, INCLUSION reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

    The Program Manager, Inclusion is accountable for leading workforce diversity and inclusion (D+I) initiatives with HR and other business units across the organization to enhance our culture of inclusion and belonging.  This role will be responsible for D+I training development, leading the NM Champion Network (employee resource group program), managing the diverse workforce benchmarking portfolio, and lead internal and external communications and content management.  This role will also be responsible for tracking and reporting relevant diversity metrics and being a liaison to internal and external diversity and inclusion partners.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop training programs intended to evolve the organization’s culture of inclusion and hardwire inclusive practices, partnering with the learning and development team to develop curriculum and resources
    • Implement and evolve the D+I strategy in partnership with key internal stakeholders across the organization and external partners
    • Lead the organization’s employee resource group program, deepening its member and leadership participation across the organization
    • Liaison to D+I talent pipeline program
    • Develop a performance portfolio for the diverse workforce benchmarking program
    • Partner with key stakeholders in Human Resources, Quality, and Community Services on efforts to improve processes that promote a culture of inclusion for all
    • Leads communications and content management efforts for D+I internally and externally

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years of experience in diversity and inclusion
    • Strong influential communication and facilitation skills
    • Proven ability to build, partner, and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external networks in the health care environment
    • Demonstrated project management skills
    • Analytical skills to create, develop, and execute the D+I strategy
    • Effective problem solver and multi-tasking skills
    • Proactive and collaborative
    • Ability to travel to other locations in the Chicagoland area

    PREFERRED: __

    • MBA, MPH, or other relevant Master’s degree
    • Experience in hospital, academic medical center, physician group, and/or healthcare provider consulting setting is preferred
    • Experience leading efforts to promote diversity and inclusion
    • Professional certificate or degree in diversity
