The program will provide pay and benefits as you start your training program supported by Northwestern Medicine and College of DuPage.

** Successful applicants will be enrolled in the training program at no cost. Following the successful completion of the mandatory program, candidates will transition into a MA role with additional support as they become independent.**

• MA Shift: 1st shift / part time

** MA Responsibilities** :

• Under the supervision of healthcare provider, assists with performing patient treatments.
• Performs basic tasks, screening procedures and specimen collection.
• Screens for and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination area.
• May perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, billing, and patient registration.
• Presents a friendly, approachable, professional demeanor and appearance.

Qualifications

** Required :**

• One or more years professional experience t in a physician office or hospital setting; or completion of a training program in a medically related field.
• Basic Life Support Certification from an American Heart Association accredited source within 90 days.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
