If so, a Cytotechnologist opportunity at Northwestern Memorial Hospital may be the perfect fit for you. Our team is actively recruiting for two Cytotechnologist to join our downtown Chicago campus! Our Cytotechnologist positions afford the opportunity for diverse exposure with advanced technology, while also maintaining foundational skills within Cytology.

** Sign-On Bonus:**

• We are extending a $5,000 sign-on bonus to full-time external Cytotechnologists hired at Northwestern Memorial Hospital! This bonus is payable in one installment following the new employee's start date and has 12-month repayment terms associated.

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine screening of specimens, reports results and documents daily workload records.
• Performs cytological examinations of GYN and non-GYN specimens.
• Evaluates processed specimens form multiple collection devices according to manufacturers’ specifications.
• Performs quality control assessment, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assists with the collection and processing of fine needle aspiration specimens.

Qualifications

_ Required:_

• CT (ASCP) or eligible within one year of employment.
