Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Sales Manager

PART-TIME - 0516 – LYNCHBURG, VA

The Sales Manager reaches new guests and strengthens existing corporate partnerships through face to face marketing. Their job is to effectively introduce Nothing Bundt Cakes to the community and strategize with clients about their catering and gifting needs. They will engage with corporate clients to establish ongoing use of our products for their events. They will partner with schools, churches, hospitals and local Non-Profit organizations regarding fundraising opportunities. They will establish marketing routes, meetings & follow ups, as well as digital and social media marketing. The position requires a good working knowledge of the bakery schedules and functions, so the manager may also serve in a supervisory role in the bakery when not out of the bakery marketing.

HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday-Saturday 9am-7:00pm Sunday 10am - 3:00pm

Requirements:

Degree in Business with proficiency in sales strategies and experience in retail or the food service industry (preferred)

Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.

Supervisory experience

Ability to work some evenings, & weekends

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Create local bakery face to face marketing strategy and execute a daily marketing plan.

Keeps management informed by submitting weekly activity and sales results reports, such as daily call reports.

Establish and manage all aspects of corporate client relationships.

Manage fundraising inquiries and orders.

Source, manage and staff events.

Develop process to vet, track and schedule donation requests.

Abide by all NBC policies and procedures.

Uphold the NBC image and brand.
