Position Summary:

Nothing Bundt Cakes is looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer who will be responsible for transforming creative ideas and concepts into the best-in-class digital customer experience. Create both functional and appealing features that are user centered. Use your creativity and eye for design – along with your technical knowledge – to develop great digital experiences working with cross functional teams to deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs, and final products.

Accountabilities/Duties:

Work with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand business needs

Conduct user research and usability studies to uncover needs, insights, and identify experience issues

Develop measures of success, testing assumptions and outcomes

Craft UX artifacts to communicate solutions (wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or low to high fidelity prototypes, etc.)

Creates functional wireframes, clickable prototypes, design documentation, and other deliverables for all digital platforms, including website and APP projects

Develop ad-hoc designs, revise, and improve designs based on team member and user feedback, technical input, and business decisions

Provide estimates and timelines for UX activities

Analyze customer behavior and website data to continuously improve customer experience on all digital platforms

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience

Proficient with design tools, including Fimga and the Adobe Creative Suite

Knowledgeable

A portfolio that demonstrates proficiency of the design process from end-to-end (research, wireframes, mock-ups) of digital applications

Strong communication skills

Familiarity with current trends in UX/UI and visual design

Familiarity with digital experience analytics platform such as Contentsquare, Hotjar, Fullstory

Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently

Account for challenges using problem-solving skills and seek to optimize data for the best possible outcome

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML/CSS

Experience working with distributed development teams

Possess a strong graphic design background

Experience with JIRA / Confluence or similar software development management tools
