Novo teaches and utilizes the most advanced evidence-based practices available in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) field to systematically target socially significant behaviors and improve quality of life. Job SummaryAs a behavior technician, you will work 1:1 in the client’s home or school setting using ABA methodologies. You will use play and natural opportunities to teach a variety of functional and daily living skills to children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental delays. This position has the opportunity to go full-time after 4-6 weeks of employment.

    Qualifications

    Must have 2+ years of experience in the ABA field, or 2+ years of experience working with special needs children in a school or daycare setting.

    Must currently live in Orange County

    Must be energetic and creative.

    Be open to receiving feedback, and open to learning new skills.

    Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable car to drive to client homes.

    Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

    Flexible schedule (at least 3 evenings available until 8 p.m.)

    Must be able to pass Live Scan and DOJ FBI background check.

    Bilingual a plus!

    Responsibilities

    Work 1:1 in the client’s home using ABA and PRT strategies

    Implement data collection procedures set up by the case supervisor to evaluate goal progress

    Collect data on stated objectives and bring appropriate materials (including toys) as needed to facilitate the implementation of goals

    Be able to work independently, and communicate with supervisors via Telehealth sessions.

    Part-time employees are eligible for 24 hours of sick time a year.
