Today we are now hiring (5) Full- time Certified Medical Assistants. 

Join our client as a Certified Medical Assistant where you will provide essential clinical support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

You will work closely with physicians and patients, ensuring high-quality care and maintaining a professional atmosphere.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a team and have a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities

Performs blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests and other procedures within scope of MA certification

Assists physician in examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration

Keeps rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies

Takes and returns patient phone calls as directed by Physician

Gives instructions to patients as instructed by physician

Requisitions supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock

Assists with the maintenance of the medical record including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation

Assists patients getting to and from exam rooms and prepares them for exams

Assists with any nursing procedure as directed by the Physician

Works as a member of a team and is flexible

Qualifications Required

• Associate degree or higher

• Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)

   

   

Must Haves

1) Must have at least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum

2) Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant

3) Must be certified as a Medical Assistant

4) Must have a BLS Certification

5) Must have experience with patient care and clinical procedures
