Retro Fitness Cambridge is seeking a driven and experienced Director of Fitness to oversee and grow our personal training department. This is a leadership opportunity for someone passionate about fitness, team development, and delivering real results for members.

The right candidate will combine strong sales ability, leadership experience, and a genuine commitment to health and wellness. You’ll need a closer’s mindset, a coach’s heart, and the kind of energy that makes people want to run through walls—or at least sprint through a HIIT session.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Sales: Promote and sell personal training packages to new and existing members.

Lead by Example: Set and achieve personal sales goals while guiding your team to do the same.

Team Management: Hire, train, and mentor a team of certified personal trainers.

Performance Oversight: Track KPIs, manage budgets, and oversee session and payroll metrics.

Enhance the Member Experience: Create a welcoming, results-oriented environment that motivates members to reach their goals.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in personal training sales

Previous management experience or demonstrated leadership potential

Strong interpersonal and goal-setting skills

Passion for fitness and a collaborative, team-first mindset

Local to Cambridge or able to commute reliably

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year In Person

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed
