    HR / Payroll Manager (Bilingual Required)

    Location: Brownsville, TX (adjust if needed)
    Type: Full-Time

    We’re seeking an experienced HR / Payroll Manager to oversee human resources operations and full-cycle weekly payroll for a fast-paced, high-volume workforce.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable supporting hourly employees while partnering with leadership.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and process weekly payroll accurately and on time

    • Review timecards, overtime, and job codes

    • Handle payroll adjustments and employee pay questions

    • Manage onboarding/offboarding and employee records

    • Administer benefits

    • Handle workers’ compensation cases and unemployment claims

    • Support injury reporting and return-to-work coordination

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, I-9s, E-Verify, and HR documentation

    • Support employee relations and disciplinary processes

    • Communicate HR policies clearly to English- and Spanish-speaking employees

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years HR & payroll experience (staffing/industrial preferred)

    • Strong knowledge of weekly payroll processing

    • Experience with timekeeping/payroll systems

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

    • Excellent organization and communication skills

    • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred:

    • Multi-state payroll experience

    • High-volume hourly workforce

    • Staffing, construction, or industrial background
