Position Overview
As an On-Call Caregiver, you will serve as a dependable resource during caregiver absences or urgent shift needs. You must be flexible, highly detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Your availability and responsiveness will play a critical role in supporting our clients and care team.
Key Responsibilities
Remain on standby during your assigned on-call week (Tuesday to Monday coverage)
Be available to report to a client’s home at any time during your on-call period
Accurately follow each client’s Care Plan and complete necessary tasks
Utilize web-based tools for care documentation and task management
Attend all assigned or emergency shifts as required
Requirements
Experienced caregiver with hands-on skills
Proficient in using equipment such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and wheelchairs
Valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance
High school diploma or GED required
1–2 years of patient scheduling experience is a plus
Proficiency with software applications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent time management and customer service skills
Previous home health care experience required
Must be dependable and committed to work during assigned on-call weeks
