The Music Shop is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable part-time team member. Whether you are a musician, music lover, or retail pro, if you enjoy working with families and want to be part of a local business that makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Position Details

Schedule: Nights and weekends (flexible and negotiable)

Hours: 15–20 hours per week

Starting Pay: $17 per hour (with performance-based raises)

What You’ll Be Doing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly detail-oriented

Help customers with rentals, lessons, repairs, purchases, and general retail support

Work closely with families, students, and musicians

Provide exceptional customer service in a variety of store operations

Support team members during busy times and seasonal rushes

Stand and move comfortably for extended periods (5–7 hours per shift)

What We’re Looking For

12 Month Employee

A “rockstar” personality — upbeat, reliable, and people-friendly

Working knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)

Background in music retail or strong understanding of woodwind, brass, and/or fretted instruments

Comfortable learning new systems and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
