About the Full Stack Software Engineer position

NowSpace is looking for an engineer who loves writing code, has a strong desire to learn new technologies, and wants to collaborate with teammates who are committed to serving our members. More specifically, you will

Full Stack Software Engineer responsibilities are:

• Work on all levels of the web stack (JavaScript/React/Redux, HTML/CSS, Scala backend, MySQL)
• Build, optimize, and maintain an easy-to-use, powerful web application using React and Redux
• Work closely with product managers and designers
• Craft elegant solutions to fix bugs and solve problems
• Actively look for ways to build and improve experience for all our members
• Help drive the direction of our growing architecture

Full Stack Software Engineer requirements are:

• MS or BS in Computer Science
• 3-10 years of industry or equivalent programming experience
• Understanding of core CS concepts, such as, common data structures and algorithms
• Positive, "Get Shit Done" attitude
• Highly motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and strong desire to win.
• Exceptional organization skills and multi-tasking skills.
• A strong interest in working in and love for the city of Austin.
• Deep passion for the entrepreneurial ecosystem - startups, VCs, accelerators, etc.
