    As President, you will lead/own: 

    • Building and scaling a media insights and analysis company for business professionals and leaders who need complex information distilled and summarized rapidly, often in real-time.

    • Driving the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for the business. 

    • Integration with media monitoring tools and services, to ensure accurate, meaningful reporting. Developing the roadmap for technology investments to drive these capabilities. 

    • Developing and executing strategy for identifying clients and the services they need to supplement existing programs and agency support.

    • Communicating needs and opportunities cross-functionally with nth Venture support teams (Marketing, Admin, People Ops, Finance, Legal, etc.)

    Reporting directly to the CEO of nth Venture, this role is ideally suited for a person with the following experience and qualifications:

    • Substantial and meaningful experience in media research and/or corporate communications, with a strong emphasis on analysis and reporting.

    • Meaningful relationships in the corporate communications and public relations industry. 

    • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build, improve and mentor a team of analysts and consultants. Previous experience leading high-performance teams is essential. 

    • Deep understanding of traditional media (print/TV/online) and social media, including monitoring and analysis tools and services.

    • Issues/crisis communications background, with an interest in and proven understanding of reputation management. 

    • No-ego leader; can-do and roll-up-the-sleeves attitude that instills confidence through collaboration and influencing.

    Central to our mission is the belief that tying pay to hours worked is an unfortunate vestige of the industrial revolution that isn’t fit for great talent in the modern working world.  Our compensation philosophy is built on twin pillars: Profit-sharing and Equity (granted via Restricted Stock Units or “RSUs”):

    • By compensating our people on a PROFIT-SHARING BASIS we 1) fundamentally support rather than exploit our people, 2) keep the BS to a minimum, and 3) unlock the insane power of durable, high-performance teams. 

    • By issuing equity grants with a standard 10-year vesting period, we make every employee an owner, and incentivize the creation of LONG-TERM VALUE.
