We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our practice who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients by providing weekly individual, couples or family therapy. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) license. Schedule is flexible between 10-20 hours per week. Hours are provided either in-person, telehealth or a combination of both. Weekly supervision is also provided. Responsibilities: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide direct patient care for therapeutic services; including therapeutic intake, assessment, treatment planning and weekly therapy sessions • Provide ongoing assessment of clients' clinical mental health needs and development of treatment plan goals and objectives • Provide support for clients in distress/crisis and coordination of care to crisis services when necessary • Provide recommendations to community services higher level of care or specialist as needed • Timely completion of paperwork OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: • A commitment to ongoing professional growth, ethics, and clinical excellence • Strong communication skills, written skills, professionalism, and collaborative abilities. • Strong interpersonal skills with individuals, teams, and groups. Ability to compassionately voice opinions, needs, and requirements to others. • Experience or knowledge of crisis intervention as well as discernment to refer to appropriate services when required. (911, 211, DCF etc.) • Experience utilizing Computers; Specifically, Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, EHR and Telehealth services. • Experience writing clinical notes and treatment planning. Qualifications: • Valid CT state license in one of the following areas: LMFT, LCSW or LPC. LMSW, LMFT-A or LPC-A will be considered, and clinical supervision may be provided to aid in the licensure process. • 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required. • Proof of valid liability insurance. • Background check. Compensation: $39 - $70 hourly
