Nucamp (www.nucamp.co) - the #1 Community-based Coding Bootcamp - is seeking a software/web developer, preferably in the Greater Seattle area and open to remote working.

Your role as a software/web developer will be to support Nucamp's growth and geographical expansion, working closely with the Chief Product Officer and CEO. We're looking for a Front End Web Developer who can design and build user-friendly web experiences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design new customer-centric and operations-centric features
• Code the new features, and perform unit tests
• Participate in the improvement of the overall codebase (performance improvements, platform upgrades, documentation)
• Contribute to the implementation of agile methodologies (sprint / kaban)

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

• User Interface design experience
• JavaScript ES6
• Angular 5+
• Experience with NoSql Databases
• Ionic 3+ a plus
• Google Firebase a plus
• Demonstrated excellence and professionalism in written communication
• Familiarity of the software developer community

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Front End Web Developer
• Experience in a high-paced, small-team role and environment
• Entrepreneurial can-do attitude with a growth mindset
• Equal enthusiasm for both day-to-day executional tasks and bigger picture projects

JOB TYPE: 

• Part-time independent contract for the first month, with a transition to full-time employment after that.
