Responsibilities
Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
Perform scans and imaging techniques, including PET scans, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
Prepare and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine procedures, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with physicians to interpret scan results and provide diagnostic evaluations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols related to radioactive materials.
Educate patients on the procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and practices.
Skills
Proficient in aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during procedures.
Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine practices and medical imaging technologies.
Familiarity with anatomy and physiology to accurately assess scan results.
Understanding of medical terminology relevant to nuclear medicine.
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively based on imaging results.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records and equipment.
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)
