    Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the evaluation of patients' medical conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results and provide high-quality patient care.

    Responsibilities

    • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
    • Perform nuclear medicine scans, including PET scans, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
    • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret imaging results in collaboration with physicians.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
    • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine equipment.
    • Follow aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures.
    • Educate patients about the procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
    • Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and practices.

    Years of Experience: 2 year(s)

    Certifications: ARRT N, BLS, CNMT, NMTCB

    Charting System: Required, Epic

    Required :

    • HSD/GED
    • Diploma/Certificate from a DAPIP/JRCERT-accredited radiology program

    Skills

    • Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient conditions.
    • Proficiency in medical terminology related to nuclear medicine and imaging techniques.
    • Experience with diagnostic evaluation processes and interpretation of imaging results.
    • Familiarity with nuclear medicine practices, including the use of radiopharmaceuticals.
    • Competence in medical imaging technologies and equipment operation.
    • Ability to apply aseptic techniques effectively in a clinical setting.
    • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
