Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the evaluation of various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results.
Responsibilities
- Perform PET scans and other nuclear medicine procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations by interpreting scan results and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and radiopharmaceutical usage.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety regulations in all imaging processes.
- Provide patient education regarding procedures, potential side effects, and safety measures.
- Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and best practices.
Experience
- BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB/CA License, PREFERRED CT Advanced Cert
- Years of experience REQ: 1 year
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
- Familiarity with medical imaging equipment and techniques used in nuclear medicine.
- Experience with aseptic technique is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient care.
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes, all travelers float between Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna Beach
Is on-call REQ? Not required, but can be given if requested
Locals accepted: No, 50-mile radius rule applies
